Our Youth Tech Camp introduces students to the exciting world of technology through programs like 3D Pen design, robot building, drone flying, Power-Up Planes, and 3D printing. We are proud to collaborate with STEM 54, Sankofa City, and The Tree of Knowledge to deliver engaging and practical learning experiences.
Age Group: 10-15 years
The BIT-LA Green Energy Academy focuses on empowering Black communities to become leaders in clean energy industries. Through partnerships with utility companies, solar energy firms, and electric vehicle leaders, our academy offers training and career pathways in solar technology, wind energy, electric vehicles, and sustainability practices.
Our Math Camp, led by the innovative Dr. Batie, is designed to build math proficiency, boost problem-solving skills, and foster a love for mathematics. From intensive math workshops to the exciting Math March Madness competition, students will strengthen their math skills and gain confidence in preparation for careers in STEM.
BIT-LA, in collaboration with Best Buy, is transforming a vacant fire station in Westchester into a state-of-the-art Tech Center. This space will serve as the central hub for our Youth Tech Camp and Green Energy Academy, offering the community access to resources, mentorship, and education in cutting-edge technology and sustainability practices
The STEM 54/WellDan Math Camp is a dynamic program designed for aspiring engineers and tech enthusiasts to sharpen their math skills and prepare for careers in STEM. Through immersive 5-day sessions during winter and spring breaks, along with weekly Saturday sessions, students will engage in hands-on learning, problem-solving, and skill-building. Each participant receives a brand new laptop, a $100 gift certificate, and the top-performing student earns a paid summer internship with WillDan, offering valuable real-world engineering experience.
