LOS ANGELES, CA — Blacks in Technology (BIT) Los Angeles Chapter is excited to announce the launch of the STEM 54/WellDan Math Camp, a unique opportunity designed for aspiring engineers. In partnership with STEM 54 and WillDan, this initiative will help local youth develop essential math skills, gain hands-on experience, and prepare for careers in engineering and other STEM fields.
The camp kicks off with a math assessment and orientation on November 29, 2024, and will run through winter and spring breaks. The program includes a series of 5-day intensive sessions during both winter break (December 16 - January 3) and spring break (April 12 - April 20), as well as weekly Saturday sessions between the two holiday breaks. Each participant will receive a laptop and a $100 gift certificate, while the top-performing student will be awarded a summer internship with WillDan, offering real-world experience in the engineering field.

This program is open to students with an interest in pursuing a career in engineering or STEM-related fields. Candidates must submit a resume upon registration. Only
9 seats are available, so early registration is encouraged.
